Review: Save the Nail. Repair & Rescue Treatment by Nails Inc. Worth £7.50

Repair & Rescue

I was in Boots when I came across this little number, my nails were peeling and wrecked from overkill of nail varnish that I needed something to sort it out pronto. Sometimes nails just need to bare it all and breathe, taking a break from varnish, or alternatively I went for this 'repair' treatment. This is just one of the nail 'enhancing' packs available from Boots. The Nail Inc range also provides a base gloss for longer lasting varnish, glossy wet look top coat, but with this one I can use as a base coat as well as healing.

Save the Nail claims its a 'first aid treatment for damaged nails from nail extensions or in need of a rescue'. It contains the chemical Nonychosine-E that aims to strengthen nails for a healthier growth, and along with a 'bio extender' to increase durability and nail resistance.

How does it work?

To get the best results I need to apply one coat everyday for a week and remove it by the end. I can either keep the process going or I can just start using it as a base coat, depending on how much progress I feel it has made.

So what's my Verdict? Day 3 into the process I found my nails feeling protected and stronger, it definitely doesn't feel as soft and bristle at the tips. The glossy appearance can act as a clear nail varnish, or as a base coat. I tend to grow my nails which always ends up chipping, but after trialling this for a week it has made quite a difference to its firmness. I would definitely recommend this to prevent nails from chipping, and I would gladly use this as a base coat to protect and layer my nail from any harsh varnish.

  3. If you're looking for the most comprehensive HTC Touch Pro 2 review on the internet, you've come to the right place. The device in question is possibly the most highly anticipated Windows Mobile device of all time. It marks the return of the tilting screen made popular by the HTC TyTN II (and its many variants such as the AT&T Tilt), plus the debut of some new technologies out of HTC that should very much appease the business professional.

  5. Welcome to Shrink Pictures. As an admin of a large Forum, we have a lot of users who have almost no graphics skills or knowledge. This website was created out of frustration of users asking questions like How do I resize images? How do I make images smaller? and How do I shrink this picture for an avatar?. So, we created the Shrink Pictures tools that are no more difficult than posting in a Forum and now anyone can Resize Images and Digital Pictures.

  10. How to Use a French Press: Step-by-Step rn rn rn1. Use water that is slightly cooler than boiling. rnBring water to a boil, then wait a minute or two. Or cool the boiling water with a shot of cool or cold water. rn rnUse fresh water that has not been boiled before for the best taste. The reason is because the water we drink (from the tap or bottle) has been aerated and has dissolved gases that make the water taste better. Boiling removes the gases and leaves a "flat" taste. (I'm not 100% convinced of this and am usually too lazy to empty the electric kettle of previously-boiled water. But this advice has been handed down for generations, is often quoted by tea and coffee connoiseurs, and the explanation sounds reasonable.)
